Thousands of cricketers have been given the chance to represent their country at the international level but only few of them have been able to make a name that will always be remembered Top Batsmen of All Time (Cricket). Following is the list of top 10 greatest batsmen of all time.

1. Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar also known as the little master, is an former Indian cricketer who is regarded as one of the greatest batsmen to ever play International cricket. Sachin Tendulker has almost achieved all the records that can be possibly made in the game of cricket. Sachin is the only player in the history of cricket to score 100 international centuries and is the highest run scorer in both ODI and Test cricket. Tendulkar is also the first and only player to score 200 runs in a ODI match.

2. Sir Donald Bradman
Sir Donald Bradman is at the second spot on our list of greatest batsman of all time. He was an Australian cricketer and is regarded as the greatest Test batsman in the history of cricket. His batting average of 99.94 tells the whole story about his level of game. He scored 20 Test centuries in 80 innings. In  2009, he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.

3. Viv Richards
Viv Richards is a former cricketer from the West Indies national team. Richard is widely regarded as the best One Day International player in the cricket history due to his destructive batting style. Also he is regarded as the third best Test batsman after Sachin Tendulkar and Don Bradman by many cricket experts.

4. Brian Lara
Brian Lara is another cricketer from West Indies on our list of top 10 greatest batsman in cricket history. Brian Lara is most widely known for his record individual score of 400 runs not out against England in one innings. Lara was a classic player and also holds the record for scoring most runs in one over in a Test match with 28 runs.

5. Ricky Ponting
Ricky Ponting is an former cricketer and the captain of the Australian national cricket team. He was an right-handed specialist middle order batsman. Ricky Ponting is the leading run scorer in both Test and One Day Internationals for Australia. He is among the only four players to score 13,000 runs in Test cricket. He takes the 5th spot on our list.

6. Rahul Dravid
Rahul Dravid is also an former cricketer from Indian team who was the captain of Indian side for both Test and ODI matches. He is at 6th place on our list of top 10 greatest batsman of all time. Rahul Dravid is known for his defensive and patient style of batting. He has scored over 13,000 runs in his Test career.

7. Jacques Kallis
The South African all-rounder is at number seven on the list. Jacques Kallis is known for his classic style of batting and his very useful right arm fast-medium bowling. The South African team depends alot upon his skills and experience. He is the only all-rounder in the history of cricket to score 13,000 runs and take 250 wickets in ODI and Test matches.

8. Sanath Jayasuriya
Sanath Jayasuriya is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. Jayasuriya was an all-rounder who scored 13430 runs and took 323 wickets in 445 ODI matches which makes him the 10th highest wicket taker bowler in ODIs till now. Sri Lanka Cricket appointed him as the chairman of cricket selecting committee in January 2013. Jayasuriya remains as one of the very best all-rounders of all time.

9. Javed Miandad
Javed Miandad is widely regarded as the best batsman to come out of Pakistan at the International level. He is the highest Test runs scorer from Pakistan till now. Javed Miandad is most famous for his last ball six in a match against India when 4 runs were required to win the match and Miandad smashed the ball out of the ground for 6 runs.

10.Mahela Jayawardene
Mahela Jayawardene is a batsmen and the former captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team. Mahela is known as an elegant and classy batsmen who has scored more than 10,000 runs in both test and ODIs. His consistency of scoring runs under pressure give him the 10th position on our list of top 10 greatest batman of all time.
