Chris Gayle Highest Runs Innings in ODI, T20, Test

Christopher Henry Gayle commonly known as Chris Gayle is a West Indian cricketer and also the former captain of the West Indies national cricket team. Gayle is very famous for his aggressive batting style and dominating the opposition bowlers every-time he comes out to play. He is a left handed batsman and an occasional right arm off-break bowler.

Gayle made One Day International debut against India in 1999. His first century came against Kenya in 2002. His highest score in ODIs is 153 runs not out against Zimbabwe in 2003 and due to Gayle’s this excellent innings West Indies was able to win that match. He is one of only six players in ODI history to have three or more scores of 150.

Chris Gayle started his Test career in 2000 against Zimbabwe. Chris Gayle is one of the only four players in the history of Test cricket who has scored 2 triple centuries. Th first one was against South Africa and the second was against Sri Lanka. His highest test career score is against Sri Lanka where he scored 333 runs not out in 2010 but the match still resulted as a draw.

His first appearance in the T20 match was in February 2006. After one year Gayle scored his first T20 century against South Africa in ICC World Twenty20 in 2007. In that match Gayle played an aggressive innings of 117 runs after facing just 57 deliveries with a strike rate of 205. But unfortunately even after this dominating innings by Gayle, West Indies were still not able to win the match.
