Guerrero is 29 years old, h is 30-1-1 with 18 knockouts, and he is a very slick defensive southpaw with good boxing skills. In this fight, those bo0xing skills will be put to the test as he faces the hard hitting talents of 29 year old Andre Berto. Berto is 28 -1 with 22 knockouts, he is currently rated 8th according to the WBA, and he is a strong, fast puncher with a lot of experience and a lot to prove. This should be an excellent boxing /  puncher match-up, and all the action can be seen on this Saturday beginning at 10 pm EDT.

Look for Guerrero to start fast, working behind the basic one-two, and make Berto look bad in the first few rounds. Berto will work his way into his comfortable range in the middle rounds, probably from round five on, and force Guerrero into a defense and counter mode. As we’ve seen in the past, Berto will tire late and allow Guerrero to box from the outside and take a 115-113 decision victory.
