KARACHI: Pakistan registered its first win in the Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament on Sunday as they pulverised China 6-2 in Ipoh.
For the green shirts, Mohamad Zubair and Haseem Khan, netted two goals each.
This was the first win for the team under the coaching of Khawaja Junaid who has taken over as the interim coach of the team after the World Cup debacle.
Pakistan had drawn its opening match against Malaysia 3-3, before losing to arch rivals India 4-2.
Seven teams from around the world are competing in the event.
