Hockey Asia Cup 2013 Points Table – Team Standings Position

The biggest tournament of hockey in Asia, the Asia Cup 2013 begins from 24th August 2013. Here you will be able to find the complete Hockey Asia Cup Points Table – Team Standings Positions. Malaysia is hosting the Asia Hockey Cup 2013 this time and total eight teams are participating in the event.

All teams have been divided into two Pools. Pool A consists of Pakistan, Japan, Malaysia and Chinese-Taipei and the Pool B contains the hockey teams of Korea, Bangladesh, Oman and India. Korea is the defending Champion of Asia Cup who won it by defeating Pakistan with 1-0 goals in the Final.

Many teams including Pakistan and India are playing this tournament for the sake of qualifying in the FIH World Cup 2014. Both Pakistan and India have won the Asia Cup before and will look to repeat the history again but they will not be able to win the tournament they will also be out of the Hockey World Cup 2014.
