Johnson wins BMW Championship 2013

 The american professional golfer, Zach Jhonson has won the BMW Championship 2013. The former 2007 Master Champion, Zach Jhonson played a superb game on monday at Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, lllinois to win the BMW Championship 2013. This title victory moved Jhonson from to the 4th place from 27th on the points table of FedEX Cup standings behind Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson and Adam Scott while going into Tour Championship in Atlanta.

This was the 10th PGA title victory in the Jhonson career. The tournament was delayed due to rain but at the end Zach Jhonson completed the BMW Championship 2013 at 16-under par and a two shots lead advantage over the runner-up Nick Watney. Another american golfer, Jim Furyk had started the tournament’s final round with a lead but was able to finish only third. Jhonson had started the last round 10-under and three shots behind the points table leader Jim Furyk but then kept climbing up with consistent good performance. Jhonson told media that:

“It’s hard to grasp the last two weeks of golf, It’s not like you have to win every week to win that FedEx Cup. You’ve just got to win at the right times or play well at the right times. And I like the momentum I have for next week.”

On fourth position, three players Jason Day, Luke Donald and Hunter Mahan finished at a tie.
