Pakistan play Bangladesh on June 29: Pakistan football team will play first leg of World Cup pre-qualifier of Asia against Bangladesh in their away match here at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.

Pakistan coach Tareq Lutfi anticipates a competitive game between the teams. “Bangladesh, as an opposition, is strong indeed. There is no chance of underestimating them. But we have come here for a win. Our target is to reach the next round. We are hopeful on winning,” he said.
Pakistan’s 20-member squad has four foreign players, who are Pakistani by birth. Among them three are from Britain and other is a citizen of Australia. They are Atif Boshir, Jishan Rahman, Adnan Farukh (Britain) & Ahmed Akbar Khan (Australia).
