Michael Jennings’ British title clash with John O’Donnell has been postponed.
Local hero Jennings had been due to headline against O’Donnell with the vacant British welterweight belt on the line.
But O’Donnell, who won the Commonwealth title last year, has been forced to withdraw due to a back injury. The fight will now take place on a date to be decided.
It is the second such setback for Jennings, who had originally been due to meet Kell Brook before Brook damaged his ribs while sparring.
Unable to secure a suitable opponent for Jennings, Warren has now taken the decision to cancel the show.
He said: “We are very disappointed for the fans, Michael Jennings and the rest of the boxers on the show. We will reschedule the bout when O’Donnell is fit.”
