The winner will receive the prize of 2 Million, the runner-up will get 1 Million and there are also Rs25, 000 to Rs50, 000 rewards for individual performers. Advance Telecom is the main sponsor of the event and will pay Rs500 to every batsman for hitting one six.

In a brief media conference at the National Stadium Zakir Khan, Pakistan Cricket Board’s director of domestic operations said:
“This is the ideal opportunity for the people of Karachi to enjoy the game at close quarters in good environment. As usual, the PCB would ensure foolproof security in and around the stadium with the cooperation of the local administration and concern departments. The PCB is extremely grateful to Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Siddiqui, for his tremendous support to ensure the tournament turns out to be a resounding success.”
