Pakistan Cricket team captain Misbahul Haq has said that the green shirts have ability to make a comeback anytime.Speaking to media before leaving for South Africa on Tuesday, he said that the team would feel absence of Muhammad Irfan as there were always chances of wining with strong bowling lineup. However, he also mentioned bad form of Pakistani batsmen, who he said, were not making runs.
Misbah said he had never said that the team’s performance would be exposed in his absence. “Issues cannot be resolved by changing skipper. Nobody advised me to take rest,” the Pakistani captain said while responding to questions.For a batting line-up that is struggling and just arrived to play a series in what is widely acknowledged one of the toughest places to make runs, Pakistan have an unusual amount of confidence. Mohammad Hafeez, their T20 captain, said their showing on this soil earlier this year will serve as inspiration for the upcoming series.

Two Twenty20 games will be followed by three one-day internationals in a tour arranged in haste after a fall-out between the Indian and South African boards led to India cutting short a tour to the republic. It is the third tour featuring South Africa and Pakistan this year. The Pakistanis played three Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 internationals in South Africa between January and March. In a reciprocal tour which ended last Friday, the two nations clashed in two Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 internationals in the United Arab Emirates. The tour will serve a double purpose for South Africa.
