West Indies Squad against Pakistan 2013 Team Players List

Many changes have been made in the Pakistani squad after the disappointing performance in the Champions Trophy 2013. A total of 16 players have been selected for both ODIs and Twenty20 matches. The players who were not the part of Champions Trophy squad like Shahid Afridi and Umer Akmal are also making their comeback in the team. New talented players like Haris Sohail, Muhammad Rizwan and Umar Amin have also been given the chance to show their potential.

If we talk about the West Indies Team than they are looking very dangerous and confident. West Indies board has announced a 13 players squad that will compete against Pakistan. The wicketkeeper/batsman Dinesh Ramdin has been dropped from the team due to his bad recent performance so Johnson Charles is expected to work as a wicketkeeper as West Indies has no other specialist wicketkeeper in the squad. Another important player for West Indies, Ravi Ramapul, has not been able to join the team for the series due to his ankle injury in the recent Tri-series. Jason Holder will take the responsibilities of Ravi Ramapul and try to show his talent.

After a disappointing loss in the Tri-series at their home ground West Indies is looking to get back on the winning streak by defeating Pakistan. And we all know that they have this capability with players like Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy but it won’t be that easy against the worlds best bowling attack of Pakistan.

West Indies squad:
Dwayne Bravo (captain), Tino Best, Darren Bravo, Johnson Charles, Chris Gayle, Jason Holder, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Kemar Roach, Darren Sammy, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Devon Smith
