The West Indies cricket board has accepted the invitation of the Board Of Control for Cricket in India. The Indian board had invited the West Indies cricket team for a tour of India in which they will play two Test matches and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). This tour is being organized so that the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar can play his 200th Test match in the home ground. The tour is scheduled to be organized in November this year.
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) official said:
“The West Indies Cricket Board today confirmed that the West Indies team will tour India in November. The tour will include a two Test series and three one-day internationals. The West Indies Cricket Board WICB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India agreed to utilize the mutually available window in November for the tour.”

This series between the two teams in November, will come before the tour of India to South Africa and West Indies trip to New Zealand in the month of December this year. This tour will let Sachin Tendulkar play his 200th Test match in front of the home crowd. Till now Tendulkar has played 198 Tests and the 2 matches of this series will help him reach another milestone in his career. Last time these two teams faced each other in during the Tri-series in Caribbean this year, which was won by India. The full West Indies tour to India schedule will be released following final agreement by the two boards.
