Faisalabad Wolves players get Indian visas for CL T20 2013

Faisalabad Wolves players have finally got Indian Visa and now will participate in the Champions League T20 2013. A few days ago the Faisalabad Wolves participation in the Champions League t20 became doubtful because they were not granted the Indian visa due to security issues. But now the stage is all set and Pakistani fans will be able to see their favorite team in action during CL T20 2013.

From past few years, due to political tension between the two countries, the Pakistani teams were not welcomed to play in the Champions League T20 which is organized by the Indian cricket board. But last year first team from Pakistan, Sialkot Stallions had participated in the qualifying tournament for the CL T20 now Faisalabad Wolves are the second to play in the league.

The Faisalabad Wolves squad is led by the Test and One Day Internationals (ODI) captain of Pakistan’s national cricket team, Misbah-ul-Haq. The team will begin their journey through four-team qualifying round of the event which is scheduled to begin from 17th September.

The four teams, Faisalabad Wolves, Otago Volts, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kandurata Maroon will play in the qualifying matches and the top two teams will move forward in the main event (Champions League T20 2013) which will begin from 21st September, 2013.

The Faisalabad Wolves players are at the training camp in Lahore and will depart for India on 14th September, 2013. While the captain Misbah-ul-Haq, Ehsan Adil and Saeed Ajmal who are currently playing a series in Zimbabwe with the national team, will reach India directly from Zimbabwe.
