KARACHI: America based Pakistani Dr Kashif Hussain Ansari on Tuesday offered to privatise Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the uplift of cricket in the country.
Talking to reporters here at Press Club, he said that changes in the PCB is needed and asked former legends to step in and once more give direction to cricket to achieve glory once more.
New York-based businessman Abid Siddiqui was also present on the occasion.
“Services of former cricket greats and experts to streamline the working of PCB and to turn Pakistan team on top of the world, is what we are looking for,” Kashif said.
He called upon the sincere, honest and dedicated former cricketers to come forward and tell members of Pakistan cricket team not to play with emotions of the nation.
Kashif, a director at Dow Health Care Houston, claimed they got the resources and finance required to run the board but refused to give details at this moment.
He said they are offering to privatise Pakistan team’s coaching, training, endorsement cricket tours at home and abroad without disturbing present PCB set-up.
